Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Sr. Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects within the heavy industrial manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing capital improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of capital improvement projects in a hybrid work environment.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and scope to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with facilities engineering teams to optimize project outcomes.
- Oversee financial reporting related to project expenses and progress.
- Conduct project close-out activities to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Implement cost control measures and track project expenses against budgets.
- Supervise construction management tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage subcontractor relationships and oversee their work to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- 25% - 50% travel required to nearby states
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field are preferred but not mandatory.
- 5 + years of EPC project management experience within the heavy industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of capital improvement projects, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Experience with construction management and subcontractor management.
- Proficiency in project tracking and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with CAPEX processes and heavy industrial manufacturing practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- 25% - 50% travel required to nearby states
- PMP Certification and experience with SAP are preferred but not mandatory.
